Ingredients for 4 people:


250 g. crushed farro
200 g. well seasoned belly pork
half chili
1 glass tomato sauce
salt
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 onion
400 g. tomato pulp
basil, pecorino cheese

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: approx. 30 minutes

 

 

METHOD


Cut the belly pork into cubes and lightly fry in olive oil, chopped onion and chili. When it is golden brown add the tomato pulp, basil and tomato puree. In the meantime cook the spelt in 1 1/2 liters of water for about half an hour, remove from heat and add the tomato sauce with plenty of grated pecori¬no cheese. Serve hot.
