Resulting from centuries-old know-how, each recipe undergoes rigorous oversight, ensuring the highest standards in both raw materials and production processes.

Clovis is the sole family-owned enterprise to guarantee the expertise in Champagne vinegar and mustard craftsmanship. Inheriting closely guarded manufacturing secrets, the brand delivers products with uniquely original and varied flavors thanks to the excellence of Champagne vineyards. A true ambassador of French gastronomy.

Founded in 1797, the Charbonneaux company initially manufactured soap before gradually shifting towards alcohol denaturation. Its activities evolved over time under the influence of the Charbonneaux family, with six generations succeeding one another from 1797 to 1962.

In 1962, Charbonneaux joined the Brabant family group, a major player in alcohol distillation. The acquisition of Société Gouthière Detré, a vinegar producer, in 1966, followed by Maison Florida in 1975, marked the beginning of Charbonneaux-Brabant’s expansion into the food sector. The company continued to grow and has become a leading manufacturer of vinegars, mustards, oils, mayonnaises, and sauces, dedicated to preserving the art of local traditions and French terroir. As a true ambassador of French gastronomy, Charbonneaux-Brabant distributes its products in over 80 countries. With its strong history and family ownership, Charbonneaux-Brabant is committed to a sustainable vision, driven by a strong social, societal, and environmental conscience (certified PME+).
