 Hearty appetite style mezzemaniche pasta

 

Ingredients for 4 people:


400 g. Mezzemaniche
1 skinned continental sausage
1 yellow pepper
100 g. green oliνes
1 teaspoon of pickled capers salt, pepper
1 onion
1 red pepper
400 g. tomato puree
100 g. black olives
2 tablespoons olive oil

 

METHOD


Fry the chopped onion and the skinned and mashed sausage in a pan. Brown all the ingredients and then add the tomato puree, the peppers which has been skinned and cut into thin strips and pitted olives which have been sliced into rounds. Season with salt and pepper and cook. Cook Mezzemaniche in boiling salted water, drain and toss in the prepared sauce, over α flαme. Serve immediately.
