Dinamita® rice ("Bombita) by Molino Roca is a collaboration with Olmeda Origenes, an exclusive variety ideal for masters of paella. Ranked as one of the best rices in the world, Dinamita® is a 5mm round pearl rice with very similar characteristics to the Bomba rice variety. It is specifically designed for dry rice and cooks almost the same as Bomba, with the difference of using approximately 10% less broth. Once cooked, its short grain triples in size, becomes loose, firm, and flavourful, and can last for hours, even days, without losing its consistency. The grains close up when cooked, preventing the rice from sticking and providing a loose and smooth texture known as the “accordion effect”, maintaining all the aromas and subtleties of the dish and creating an "explosion" of taste.
We select our “Dinamita® Olmeda Origenes by Molino Roca” rice from the Mediterranean towns of Sollana, Silla, or Sueca, located in the rich Albufera de Valencia. Its ability to absorb broth and produce excellent results rivals that of Bomba rice.
